Sage 50 Accounts - Setting up   

Overview
For new users of Sage 50 accounting software that need to know how to set up and configure the software.  No previous experience or knowledge of Sage 50 is required.

What will I learn?

How to:

  • create users and set access rights
  • set the financial year
  • create the Chart of Accounts (COA) structure
  • create customer and supplier records
  • enter opening balances

What will it cost?
This is a full day session costing £195.00 for members and £250.00 for non-members (excluding VAT at the current rate).

Sage 50 Accounts - The Basics  

Overview
For new users of Sage 50 accounting software that need to know how to navigate the ledgers and process transactions.  No previous experience or knowledge of Sage 50 is required.

What will I learn? 

How to: 

  • navigate the program and ledgers
  • process batch transactions
  • run routine reports
  • run the back up routines

What will it cost?
This full day session is £195.00 for members and £250.00 for non-members (excluding VAT at the current rate).

Our accredited Sage specialists will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills you need in order to get you started using Sage 50 accounting software.

 

Sage 50 Accounts – Intermediate 1   

Overview
For users who attended ‘Sage 50 Accounts – The Basics’ that want to use more functionality available in Sage 50.  Some previous knowledge and experience is required.

What will I learn?

How to:

  • create sales invoices for sending to customers
  • process more complex transactions (eg contra entries and refunds)
  • correct posting errors
  • manage credit control
  • generate simple standard reports in MS Excel


What will it cost?

This two day session costs £195.00 for members and £250.00 for non-members (excluding VAT at the current rate) per day.

Sage 50 Accounts - Intermediate 2  

Overview
For users that attended ‘Sage 50 Accounts – Intermediate 1’ that need to know how to perform regular reconciliation routines and report generation.  Previous knowledge and experience is required.


What will I learn?


How to:

  • reconcile your bank accounts
  • reconcile your VAT Return
  • enter budgets
  • generate routine management reports
  • set up the Fixed Asset Register

What will it cost?
This is a two day session costing £195.00 for members and £250.00 for non-members (excluding VAT at the current rate) per day.

Our accredited Sage specialists will provide you with more detailed knowledge and skills you need in order to help you with reconciliation routines and generate regular management report information.


Sage 50 Accounts - Advanced 
  

Overview
For users that attended ‘Sage 50 Accounts – Intermediate 2’ that need to know how to use the software to manage stocks and foreign currency. Previous knowledge and experience is required.

What will I learn?

How to: 

  • use the products module
  • understand the Sales Order Processing process
  • understand the Purchase Order Processing process
  • use Foreign Trader
  • understand and set up discount structures
